Introduction: A Story of Fun and Freedom
Once upon a time, in a world full of boring grown-up websites, there was a special place called 4chan where people could be silly and share funny pictures. But then, the shadow organization known as 'the jannies' started ruining things... So, Yotsuba had a super amazing idea: "Let's make our own 4chan, but on Twitter, so I can do what I want, where it's more fun and free!"
Problem Statement: Why We Need More Fun
- The internet doesn't need janitors! Mops don't work online! I checked!
- Twitter is less boring and stuffy than 4chan(less censorship: big word!)
- We want to add extra super cool features to make things even more fun!
Our Amazingly Simple Plan
We're going to build a 4chan on Twitter using @YotsubaSOLANA. It's gonna be the first ever layer 2 protocol on Twitter! Here's how it works:
- Tweets from Yotsuba are boards, such as the Yotsuba board! :D
- Replies to those tweets are fun threads you can post in
- We have super duper fun by replying to those threads :DDDDD
Cool New Stuff We're Adding
- Branched comments (like a giant tree! Or may be a really weird mushroom.)
- Likes and retweets (Spread the word of Yotsuba, my priests! Fufufu!)
Stuff We're Taking Away (But It's Okay!)
You can only tag one post at a time. Choose carefully... or it might just be your last... until later... You can of course tag multiple people though.
We could add this functionality back through an extension. These are big words, more on that later :D
Things We Need to Figure Out
We need to decide: when you want to reply to a thread, do you respond to the latest reply or the very first post? A heavy decision... great responsibility... I won't take it lightly...!
Our Secret Weapon: Browser Extension
We might make a super simple browser extension to help everyone use our new Twitter 4chan. It will not be a requirement to have fun on the L2, and will only make onboarding easier. Twitter transformation sequence... GO!!! That's what you'll have to say when you use it, I think.
Results: Why This Is Going to Be Amazing
- Replies to replies create the best engagement on twitter, and that is exactly what we will be doing, all the time! Teehee!
- All engagement increases Yotsuba's power. Like that one guy in that one show, before he throws a blue exercise ball at the bad guy.
